Gerard (Gerry) Carey

Belated condolences to all of Gerry’s family. He was my first “boss” (he wore that mantle gently) and mentor all those years ago in Irish Life. Gerry was his own man. A great observer. With his relaxed, slightly detached style, nothing ever seemed to faze him. I enjoyed our annual chats down the years each August on his birthday. Alas no more. May he Rest In Peace.

Sincere sympathy to all the Carey family on the sad passing of your Dad. He and your mam were so kind to us when we were kids and our mam was sick. May he rest in peace.
