As a retired colleague of Gerry's at the Central Bank, I'm very sad to hear of his passing, and wish to send my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. It was a pleasure to have known him. He was always a cheerful and helpful person to be with. May he rest in peace.

Gerry was a nice man and always smiling. I worked with him in the Central Bank on Dame Street and we had many a laugh. He was a member of the angling club too. May he rest in peace.
