Our deepest condolence to all of Gerry’s brothers, sisters and all of our cousins. Today is a very sad day for the Egan family😢😢. Another family member has departed from us. I have many positive memories of uncle Gerry when he came to visit us as I was a child. He told us lots of anecdotes of his adventurous life in Oregon and Canada. He left Ireland at a very young age I think 17 and travelled to America ,"The Land of Hope and Promise", I hope he found what he was looking for. He was also based in Germany with the US Army. He was a very intelligent man and well read. He reminded me of our grandpa Michael Egan. May he rest in peace. In memory your niece and grand niece Caroline & Mara. Sorry we cannot be there today as we are in Singapore at the moment.

He attended fun picnics with us on Long Island when my sisters and I were kids. I always looked at him as a great adventurer. Gerry was close in age to my mom Anne and as they played as kids together, May they be reunited together in heaven as my mom Anne passed 7.17.2023.
