Thinking of you all at this sad time. Rest In Peace Gerry ❤️❌
This morning my prayer is with Pauline, Paul, Declan and Maria on the loss of such a humble and genuine soul, Gerry Foley. Pauline, Remember our days in No. 16 with Mrs. Kennedy in 1969/70
So hard to believe Gerry is gone, he was such a powerful influence in Aer Lingus swimming with such a gentle spirit and guiding hand. He convinced my Mam to compete in her first Masters in her 70's and never gave up trying to improve her stroke technique. He believed in her as he believed in (and knew how to motivate!) so many swimmers of many generations. To all the Foleys he left behind, so so sorry for your loss.
With deepest sympathy
Very sad this morning to hear the news. Seems a very short time ago that we discussed the old neighbourhood when we met.
Our prayers with you Pauline and the family at this time.
