How fortunate I am to have spent Christmas week in his home years ago .. he laughed so much at my ‘total’ cluelessness of all things Irish !!
Palm trees& blooming roses!! , mixing colors on laundry pegs, mailman on a bike! Coins all over the road.. Brussels sprouts on a stem… what a dear and precious man❣️

When we look across the road we can still recall the cosy little home nestling under the hill where Gerry and his siblings grew up and where Pat and his dog lived such a contented life. May God welcome Gerry into eternal happiness with those gone before him.

We met Gerry in the United States while he & Winnie were visiting Gerry and Catherine.
He was a sweet and loving man, especially to his grandchildren, and to everyone else he gave good advice with a warm smile, ears that truly listen, arms that always hold, love that's never-ending, and a heart thats made of gold. Every man should be like him and follow his example.
