Gerard (Gerry) Gallagher

So sad to hear of Gerry's passing. I have great memories of working in jury's hotel in the 70's and beyond. When he was head waiter in the Embassy room restaurant for many years.

Ballybunion, The Fleadh for the weekend, sleeping on the ground without a tent, just a bit of plastic and a blanket. We were all the bees knees. The singing pub, Maher's in Fairview. you singing Bona Serra, and Mrs. Maher walking around with her bag under her arm like someone was going to rob her. And Gerry, you getting all us girls into the shows at the fancy Hotel's for free, we felt like Royalty. Thank you Gerry and RIP.
