Condolences to all the Mc Loughlin family. I was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I worked with Gerry for many years on the RV Lough Beltra and he will always be remembered for his knowledge seamanship and contribution to Marine Research.
To all the extended family of the McLoughlins, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Gerry - legendary former skipper of the RV Lough Beltra. He was a great character and I learned much from him. May he Rest In Peace. Mick

I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Next time I visit you, it will be hard not seeing him in his chair beside the fire.
You always have great stories about your dad. His love of custard creams and bakewell tarts and how you had a stockpile of them for him. You have been a brilliant daughter to him over the years. Selflessly putting his needs above your own always. How lucky he and your family are to have you.
He reached his grand old age because of you and your care Pam, there is noting more you could have done for him. Mind yourself.
