Gerry and I are of an age that had us members of Teen Youth Club in Newbridge during the mid sixties. He was a quiet chap who earned my respect with his courage, when adversity was put up to him. In latter years, Gerry faced into adversity with the same quiet courage and earned which earned him ghe respect of everyone who knew him.

His quiet presence and inspiration will be missed around the town. Sincere condolences to his family and close friends.
