I am so saddened and upset to hear of Gerry’s sudden death. I remember his arrival in Letterkenny in the late 80s working with Woodchester. He was always a gentleman and may his gentle soul RIP and watch over you both.

So sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. I played Rugby with him for a number of years. He thoroughly enjoyed his games and the craic afterwards. Condolences to his wife , daughter and extended family.

A friend for over 30 years, a good auld cycling buddy but more importantly a true gentleman. Some great cycles, some great nights out and all great memories. We will miss you terribly and cycling will never be the same. Sincere condolences to Fiona and Niamh. Rest easy Gerry until we meet again.

I don’t think I have ever seen as many condolences as I have seen for Gerry. I hope he knew how many people admired and cared for him. He really was a true unassuming gentleman.
