My Deepest Sympathies to Patricia and Louis, Gerry and I shared many different accommodations in Limerick in the 70’s, safe to say we were like chalk and cheese, a PE student and a Russian scholar, it did work however, and we had some great times and I have many happy memories. Got the sad news too late to get to Navan, I will remember his gentle soul fondly.

Dear Patricia, Louis and all of the extended family, I learned in the last hour of Gerry’s death and am very shocked and saddened to learn this news. I had the great pleasure of working with Gerry for many decades while at Abbey. He cared for our clients from many countries over the years - to their great satisfaction and so assisted Abbey hugely in our growth over many years. An immensely gifted gent - I am honoured to have known him. RIP Gerry and thank you.

Patricia and Louis I am shocked and so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. I had the pleasure of Gerry's friendship as a colleague in the Tourism Industry for over twenty years. We travelled together with many groups over the years. He was always so relaxed and easy going but with an amazing intellect and his fluency in the many languages he spoke was incredible.
