I am sorry that I can't be with you tomorrow for Gerry's funeral but I will be thinking of you and remembering Gerry in my Mass on St. Brigid's day. Gerry was a very friendly person, always calling out and full of chat when I would visit the school across the road from his house. It was my privilege to have been there on Sunday to anoint him and send him home to his eternal home. May God and St. Brigid bring you all his comfort and peace in the days ahead.
