Only heard of Ger's passing recently. We often met in the Willows and exchanged football programs. A great football fan and a Luke Kelly fan. He will be sadly missed.
It was sad news to learn of Gerry's premature passing. It's been a long time since I spoke to him, I last met him while he was visiting Michael in St. Mary's hospital.
Lots of memories surrounding the Portland Celtic crowd.

Gerry was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to know. Our hearts go out to you on your very sad loss. May he rest in peace x
Such a lovely man, we got to know Gerry from the “Office” the Willows pub, an all round sports fan but firstly a major Spurs man, a soccer aficionado, he could name all the players on two opposing teams for every Cup Final going back 50 years, even the substitutes and who was sent off. We presented him with a home made Trophy for Memory man and he treasured it, it’s fitting that his life long love in sports matters the Mighty Spurs are Top of the Table this week. We hope you have premiere seats to all heavenly games now and that you may rest in peace.
Condolences to his family and all connections.
