Having had the fortune of becoming friends with Gary and Niamh in Toronto, I know that Gerard has left a great legacy. My deepest condolences to the Harmon family and friends. I'm sure Gerard is proud of you all, as you are of him.

So sad that Gerry is no longer with us here but clearly is in a better place. He was such a genuine, devoted family man. I remember once trying to procure a special walking stick from him but was unable to. He was so appreciative and worried that I had put myself out in any way (which I hadn’t). He was more concerned for me than he was himself. Just a rock of a man.

In particular, I appreciated his driving to Rosslare with Maura and the kids to meet me off the ferry, back in 1987. It was a long way from Dundalk at the time. Then he had to change my wheel when I got a puncture. May he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. He was a true gentleman. Sincerest

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the passing of my boyhood friend, Gerry. We went together to our first day at school, and every day thereafter right through primary school. We had many adventures and games together and I always waited to hear him describe the latest movie he attended with his Granny. His descriptions were always better than the films when I saw them in later years. We even worked together in DEW later.
May I offer my condolences to his Maura, and to his family and friends. Rest in Peace now Gerry.
