Ah Bernie and family only just heard about Gers passing, i am so sorry for your loss, I knew Ger from my school days, from primary to secondary schools, and then we met up in rivervalley where both of us live. He was such a gentleman, full of humour and kindness, and it was a privilege to share chats and laughter with him, even for a short while. Working with Gerry was always such a pleasure. He would make the worst situation seem ok with a joke and a laugh. He always made everyone around him smile and I often thought about him long after I left Dunnes. My sincere condolences and love to all his family.
