Gerard Hugh Brady

My deepest sympathy to all of Gerard’s family. I had the pleasure of volunteering with Gerard on two VAO projects, one to Sierra Leone and the other to Vietnam- many years ago now, but I often recall what a huge support he was to me when I was a young team leader in often tricky circumstances. He was a very kind and caring man.

I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to the family on the death of Gerard .

Natalie and Antoinette. It was with great sadness that I read in the paper today about Gerard’s passing. I attended his practice until his retirement and was always greeted with warmth and friendliness. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of the sad news . Our most sincere sympathies to Antoinette , Gerard's children and all the family. Gerard was one of nature’s gentlemen who brought health and joy to so many.

Gerry and I were elected to Dublin City Council on the same day and in the same constituency in 1974, and despite our party rivalry he was always a good friend to me. He was exceptional as a politician in being open and generous towards all his colleagues, from whatever party. My wife Anne and I had many pleasant social occasions with Antoinette and himself. If more politicians were like Gerry, Ireland would be a better place. Anne and I send our deepest sympathy to Antoinette and the family.
