Gerard Keating

I want to offer my sincere condolences to the Keating family. Ger and his father Tony worked with my father in Dublin many years ago and became great friends. My father had the highest regard for Ger.

My sincere sympathy to Una and family and to cousins Ed Mary Susan Camilla and Jane on the passing of Ger. I have fond memories of birthday parties in Wyckham Park. Rest in peace Ger.

I remember when I was a very big fan of Jonah Lomu, Ger gave me a figurine of Lomu from his rugby collection, he was so incredibly generous.
He was also very very thoughtful, his card would consistently be the first to arrive for a birthday or Christmas. He would always stand and belt out the Scottish anthem at the beginning of a match and this is something I imagine fondly when ever I hear "Flower of Scotland". I will miss him.

Never forgot a birthday and his was always the first Christmas card to arrive. Ger will be missed so much by all his family but he has left us with many happy memories.
