So sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Ger, i had the pleasure of working with him in the cork county council, back in the early 1990s.
A kind man with a great sense of humour.

I taught Gerard in Holy Family school many moons ago. He was one of the nicest boys a teacher could ever teach. In later life a catch up in the beer garden or on the street was always a joyous one. As everyone who knew him knows he was larger than life in every way.
