Gerry was an outstanding official for the No.14 Branch (later Electronics and Engineering Branch), ITGWU/SIPTU, at Unidare in Finglas and received a plaque in recognition of that from the Section Committee. He was also a very, very nice, genuine, friendly, conscientious person. A real trade unionist, community activist and socialist. My deepest sympathy to Gerry’s family, friends and colleagues.
