He lived with us in Aylesbury for a while during a difficult time of his life. We were childhood friends from our CBS Primary School days right up to recently and he can never be forgotten.
I spent manys the day in Mount brilliant Road, Greenshill with the Galway man John Monaghan having the chat n drinking T. Martin, Ann, Tara and John my sincerest sincerest condolences and all his extended families especially those in Clare n Galway I have never met but heard of.

Farewell to a fiercely intelligent and kind friend. Ger was a person who was worth getting to know, a loyal friend and fierce critic of those who didn’t treat others with the respect that was owed to them. He had no time for sanctimonious humbug, and he was right. To Martin and all Ger’s family and friends I send my deep sympathies.
