Devastated to hear of Gerry's passing today. Deepest sympathy to you Bernie and your family. I worked with Gerry for years in Kromberg & Schubert, one of life's gentlemen, who never had a cross word. We had many difficult days as Union reps, but Gerry was always a rock of sense, and calmed us all down. He will be a massive loss to you all, may you all stay strong in these dark days. May the sod rest lightly on his shoulder.

I only just heard this devestating news about Gerry. What a nice guy he was and a staunch Leeds United fan. I knew him from Kromberg, even though I only worked there for 6 months. We always had a chat when we met, mostly about football. He had a cheeky smile, but full of laughter. I just can't believe it. Deepest condolences to Bernie & family at this loss.
