My deepest sympathy to all Gerard's family. I knew Ger well back in the 90's and he is one of the most decent, generous and funny guys I have ever known. Our group trip to a Republic of Ireland football match in Budapest back in 1989 will always remain one of the best and funniest memories ever thanks to Ger. May he rest in peace.
