what a true gent Mr.Nolan was. I have such memories of his pranks on us poor kids at birthday parties, coming to collect his kids and knocking on the window in the dark with a torch under his head like a ghost...he was so funny!!! My thoughts are with all the offspring..Eileen

I was very sorry to hear of the death of Gerry. He and Maureen and the family were great neighbours. I appreciated their precious support for me over many years particularly the concerts they organised with the Castle Singers. They were great occasions and enjoyed by my Missionary of Africa confreres. Sincerest sympathies to the Nolan family and be assured of our prayers.

What a character ! You are greyly blessed to have had a dad of that calibre . The knowledge and the chat was endless .they don’t make Dads and Grandads like that everyday so consider yourself very lucky.

Gerry and Maureen were a wonderful couple and his passing brings back fond memories of growing up in Dollymount alongside the Nolan clan. They were blessed in having children who cared for them so well in their golden years.
