To all the Van Deventer family and in particular Gert, we are very sorry to hear of the passing of your Father & Grandfather Gerard, who we all only knew as Pops. He was an absolute Gentleman who always had a smile and plenty of wit. We loved to see him arrive to referee our games in his red sporty Toyota Celica with the pop up lights! He gave me plenty of cards, never gave out, just smiled, but I had the utmost respect for him. Gert took after him well being a very accomplished referee & Gentleman himself. May Pops Rest In Peace
