My deepest sympathy to all of Gerry’s family on his untimely loss. The service was beautiful and it was heartening to learn more about Gerry’s family life and the huge love you all had for him. I was privileged to know him for a short time through his work. I saw the healing influence he had on his clients as he shared his compassion, his positivity and his quick humour. I will miss our chats at the end of the day dearly.
He is sorely missed by all who knew him.

We’ve so many memories of Gerry’s culinary expertise and the wonderful meals we all shared together with our then small children in London. Gerry packed so much into his life along with many adventures across the globe.
A truly dignified service which really reflected Gerry’s life in such a meaningful way. Emily and Adam gave their clearly much loved Dad such a heartfelt and deeply moving eulogy. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Dear Ruth, Adam and Emily, we've just watched the lovely service. The music was perfect, reminding us when we last saw Gerry (at Ronnie Scott's in London). The words reflected our feelings. We're so grateful for Gerry's help when we moved to London 25 years ago. We're so sorry for your loss, but know that Gerry made an impact on so many, and he'll be remembered.

I wish to express my deepest condolences on Gerry's passing. As one of Gerry's lecturers on the MSc in Psychotherapy, I observed his intellectual capacity, his compassion for clients and his perseverance in completing his research thesis. His passing is a loss to the psychotherapeutic and academic communities.
