Radio will never be the same, i think back many years when you first started on air and even then you were always turned on first thing. RIP and we will pray for your family.

Gerard GERRY I will miss you as I get thru the mornings, not hearing that familiar voice from my radio. Things change when you least expect them and that I have realised more now with your sad passing. We should learn not to take things or people for granted and that life is for living. To Gerry's Family

He has gone too soon and it is going to be very difficult for you all for a long long time. The heartbreak of losing a loving parent suddenly does not stop soon. But you have the bonus of knowing that Gerry was loved and respected by the whole nation. He was so proud of you his family and the whole country knew it. The only way to get through this is to hang in there together, grieve together and help each other through the bad times and be comforted by the immense love he had for you all.

Spent many happy mornings listening to Gerry, painted rooms, cleaned my house and he helped me do piles of ironing. Your loss is immense a void never to be filled but the brightest stars always burn out quicker and only the good die young.
