I was very saddened to learn of Gerry’s passing after his brave fight with a long illness. My lasting memory of Gerry is of a man who was great fun to be with during my teenage years. I send my sincere condolences to Louise and your family.

We feel lucky to have known Gerry. I had the great pleasure of working closely with him and he was simply the most charming guy you could ever meet. I’ve never laughed more than when with him.

I will never forget that phrase and the way he said it.
