So sorry to hear about Gerards passing. What a huge loss to the community as well as his family. My condolences to Oisín, Grainne and the extended Weldon families.

Gerry was a true gentleman and always had time to stop and chat. He did so much to bring our small community together , and that will never be forgotten. He had a lovely way of making everyone feel included and his knowledge of the history of our little piece of ireland was incredible . He will be deeply missed . May he rest in peace and my heartfelt condolences to Grainne and all the family .

I am very sorry to hear of Gerard's untimely passing. He was a very dedicated community activist and advocate. He did so much to advance and champion rural and community development over the years. He understood the challenges, but more importantly, he was committed to finding solutions and cutting through the red tape. It was always a pleasure to meet Gerard at Council & community events. He leaves behind a distinct legacy of selfless community service. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family and all who will miss him.
