Thinking of you all, dear cousins. I just watched the beautiful and very touching ceremony. May Gerard rest in peace, and may you all find comfort in the love that is eternal; love, the bridge between this world and the next.
Very sorry to hear of Gerard's passing.
Sadly, I was unable to attend his funeral in person but attended on-line.
It was a lovely service, gentle and serene. Cathal spoke beautifully about Gerard and how even our siblings can surprise us with their lives.
May Gerard rest in peace.

I’d only known Gerry for a few years, but I always enjoyed his company very much.
Gerry was someone that I’d describe as a total gentleman, who was well read and we had some great conversations.
Sleep well Gerry. RIP

Cathal, Paul, Miriam and Trish,
I am deeply saddened by Gerry's passing and wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to you all. Having been Gerry's friend for over 50 years, I have countless cherished memories of our time together.
One memory that stands out is from over 40 years ago on Christmas Eve. After enjoying a few pints, Gerry invited us into his home. The aroma of Christmas ham cooking filled the air. Gerry’s parents were at midnight mass and unable to resist the aroma, we all had a 'little taste,' which led to another, and another. The ham was surely turned over, and nothing was said. We all went home, leaving poor Gerry to face the fallout.
Gerry possessed a kind heart and a gentle soul. We met regularly, and I will certainly miss him. I am proud to count Gerry among my best friends, and I know he will be sadly missed.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Jess Flynn.
