Sincere condolences to the Casey Family. I enjoyed meeting Gerry over the last 18 months while visiting my mother-in-law in St Olivers. Just pure football mad he was and what a memory he had when it came to matters football. St Olivers will be a lesser place for his loss. Rest in peace Gerry.

We were so sad to hear about the death of Gerry. Sincere sympathy to Jenny and all the Casey family on the death of Gerry. Last Saturday we had a music and poetry session in Saint Olivers nursing home for the residence of the home. Gerry was there and joined with us, he seemed to be very happy and even sang the Wild Rover with us. He was very proud of his school De La Salle and talked about Dundalk FC success over many years. Rest in peace Gerry.

Saddened to find out this morning Gerry had passed. A wonderfully positive man who always had a great interest in others, and of course local soccer.
