Deepest sympathy to Chris and family. Rest In Peace Gerry.
Along with Lt. Liam McDonnell, Johnny Cheshire, Danny Donnelly (last three RIP), Larry Tuite, and George Casey, I was on the shooting team with Gerry, which included a couple of trips to the All Army in the Curragh. There are now fewer memories of those good times residing with surviving team members. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
To Chris, Louise, Sharon and Michelle, I send my sincere condolences to you on the sad passing of your dear husband and father, Gerry.
Gerry will be remembered by those of us who knew him as an excellent marksman when he was on the F.C.A. Rifle shooting team.
