Shocked and very much saddened for a former county minor and friend of mine ,just heard the news this evening from another of the minor team of 85 ,my thoughts and condolences go out to Irene and all their children on the passing of Gerry ,lucky enough to have spent time on and off the pitch — rest in peace my friend
