Dear Anne and family, It was an honour to have Ger as a cousin and to have had the privilege of spending time with him. The number of people who were there on route to the church show what a popular and well respected man he was. Thank you very much Ger for the support that you gave me when I needed it in sad times.

So sorry to hear of Gerry's untimely passing. You would always hear Gerry in Bishops Square before you see him, he'd be singing or humming a song. Legend. Condolences to his family.

He was so kind, helpful, obliging, funny, always genuinely interested in what the boys were doing, be it Football, College, Travel etc, Gerry loved hearing all their stories. He was always whistling a tune or singing a song, he always made us smile.
