Gerry Grufferty

A 14 year old Londoner arrived mid way through 2nd year . This man was a kind supportive soul as well as a great teacher. At 45 after a bout of leukaemia I visited himand Danny Green ,I'm so glad I got to thank them .Teachers like him are diamonds.

You stepped into the breach when we (in the convent) were on our umpteenth LC honours maths teacher - above and beyond. You made me think, and were one of those who taught me how to learn and understand….not just prepare for an exam. If you only knew where I’ve ended up.
