I served with Gerry in Union Quay Station in the 70s. I found him to be a decent and upright member of An Garda Síochána with whom it was a pleasure to work alongside.
A great guy who could light up the room with a joke.

A wonderful man. Always a smile for everyone he met. We had great conversations in my Grandmothers House in Mary St and in the Control Room in ASGS years later be it in person or on the telephone. RIP mo chara.

I was very saddened to hear of the sad passing of Gerry. I worked with him in Anglesea Street. He was great when it came to giving advice. Gerry always spoke lovingly of Margaret and the children. He was very proud of ye all and where ye were in life
