I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Gerry's death. I had the pleasure of working with him in the Irish Wheelchair Association in Ennis. He was a gentleman, a man of great wit and humour and he cared deeply for the people he looked after, always having their best interests at heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Our sincerest sympathy to you Bernie and Katie, Conor and Caiman. May you rest in eternal peace Gerry🙏 Michael & Rose❤️

Gerry was a passionate and dedicated Connemara pony breeder and it was in this context that we met. We shared the love of the Connemara pony breed. Gerry was a true pony man and we will miss his enthusiastic thoughts about genuine Connemara pony type and everything else about the breed. The Connemara pony world will be empty without him.
