My deepest sympathy to Gerry's wife Pam, sons, Simon, Russell and Nick. It was a great pleasure to care for Gerry for a number of years. He was a real gentleman and so very kind. Gerry loved singing and was an avid fan of the BEATLES. Solitaire was a daily ritual along with the newspaper also. A Very knowledgeable man and had a lovely way with words.
He adored his family and of course Pam was his number 1.
Thank you Gerry, Pam and family for the beautiful memories and visits each day. You will be missed dearly. Rest in peace in your new home Gerry.
— Breda Johnston

Our deepest sympathy to you Pam Simon Gerry's two sons in the UK and their families on the sad passing your beloved husband and dad Gerry. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Gerry was a true gentleman with such a uplifting positive spirit. It was privilege to have Gerry's company at the centre. He entertained us all and the clients with his repertoire of the Beatles songs in the afternoons. Happy memories. RIP to Gerry.

My sincerest sympathies to you all on Gerry's passing. I got to know him during my time working at the Irish Cancer Society shop in Wood Quay Ennis, where he was a valued volunteer. He kept the book section in ship shape every Monday, no easy task. Great company and many lovely chats with him.
