I worked with Gerry at 6 clubs in England and Scotland over the 26 years that I knew him. Gerry was a huge asset at each of those clubs. A lot of players owe their careers to Gerry's ability to identify talent. To me, though, he was a loyal friend. I miss him. As a family man there are few better. Gerry was a true gentleman. My sincere condolences to Marianne and the whole family.

Gerry. I knew you first as a customer. Very quickly we bonded over football. Giving a few cursory minutes to business when I would visit your office, before deep diving into Bohs and football in general, we could chat for ages. After a short while we became friends and I was always delighted when we bumped into each other on match nights in Dalyer. You were the consummate gentleman and will be sorely missed. We go back over 50 years, and I am lucky to have been able to call him a dear friend.
He was such a wonderful man who will be badly missed by so many people with whom he met through his business and football life.
