Gerry (Robert) Doyle

I wish to offer my sincere sympathy to the family of Robert. RIP. To his daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and friends, my condolences.
I spent a couple of months in Belmont NH during the early summer of 2022.
Recuperating from a nasty ankle break.
I had my meals every day with Robert. Indeed there seemed to be at least three Roberts about!
Looking back a few years on I think I can say that Robert Doyle was the most engaging and conversant of the group. We enjoyed many chats about old Dublin, our differing schooldays and football (association!).
Robert was also able to promote a less strict regime for those of us who wished to stay up a bit late. A very successful action on his part.
I'm very sorry to read of his passing, but have fond memories of my time with him. A gentleman and a scholar, who will be greatly missed.
May Robert's gentle soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Deepest condolences to Gerry’s family. I’m so sorry to hear of Gerry’s’s passing. I have fond memories of working for my Doyle cousins in Parnell St in the early 1970’s particularly with Patsy, Noel and Brendan. Great and wonderful times which live long in my memory. RIP Gerry
