Gerry was my first boss, when I joined Cassin Air Transport back in l967. He was
an extremely thoughtful and caring person, and was indeed a great mentor.
When I joined I.E.C. in l988, I met the same Gerry that I knew from 1967.
So sorry I was unable to attend his Funeral Mass.

My heartfelt sympathy to Irene and all Gerry'S family on his sad passing. Malahide will be in debt to Gerry for all he did for the Festival and other community works. Gerry was a superb volunteer in the 2003 Special Olympics in charge of all the transport and I loved working alongside him as a fellow volunteer! May you all be comforted by your many lovely memories. Nora.

My Dad Joe Lowe who died last year be very sad to hear Gerrys passing. Gerry was a genius what he did for freight forwarding in Ireland, as sure alot of you know..
My Dad Joe, was one of the best in the industry, only caused he learned from Gerry who was a massive part creating, the Air freight division. I work in the industry cause Joe thought me , but he always said he learned from the best.

Irish Expess Cargo was the success story of Irish freight forwarding back in the day.
It provided many jobs and opportunities which alot of us still benefiting from today.

A true gent and God father of real freight forwarding in Ireland.
