Not only was Trudi a wonderful squash player as I was on the receiving end of many a defeat, she was also a welcoming and warm host when we attended Grainne and Pat’s wedding in Dargaville all those years ago. Our sincere sympathies to The Carbery and Heverin family .We both have lovely memories of Trudi during the late 70's in Athy. She was a wonderful squash player and often took Eugene on and insisted that he play hard and show no mercy. It prepared her for her matches. Trudi was also very kind and would often pop over to the Bank and invite me over to St John's for a bowl of her home made soup. Our thoughts are with you all. May Trudi rest in peace.
