Dear Uncle Hugh, Damien, Oliver, and Robbie,

I’m sending you all my love and deepest condolences on the sad news of Auntie Gill’s passing. One of my fondest memories of her is from when I was about 10 years old. I admired her Swatch watch, and in her generous way, she simply took it off and gave it to me.

That act of kindness left a lasting impression, and her laughter and vibrant spirit have stayed with me ever since.

I’ll always remember her as a woman of great style and a warm heart. My dad told me you were all with her when she passed, which I’m sure brought her great comfort.

Please know I’m thinking of you all and will have a candle lighting for Gill in the days ahead.
