Kenneth, Robert and family, I was very sorry to hear of Gillian’s passing. I have lovely memories of the house in Parkmore. Today is the 6th of June and when I was a child we used to go to magical birthday parties in the Kelleher house on that date. There was a tall tree in the middle of the back garden with a seat around it. No other house had one . Mr. Kelleher used to show us cini reels of the family holidays in Torquay, Cornwall and other places they went to. No one else went on holidays in those days or had projectors. We used to get goody bags before anyone else ever thought of the idea.
It was a lovely innocent happy time. Mr. Kelleher got me my first summer job in C.I.E. Gillian's arrival was a delight to her parents after the 2 boys.
May Gillian’s gentle soul rest in peace.

I got to know the lovely Gillian when I worked in Roches barbers shop. I would go upstairs to the ladies hair salon to have my lunch and Gillian would come in to get her hair done.
She loved her style, I remember her great laugh. I had some good chats with her. She always spoke fondly of her brother Ken and partner Robbie.
May the lovely memories of Gillian help you get through the tough days ahead.

Having worked with her for several years, she was truly one of a kind....larger than life, fearless, outspoken, and always unapologetically herself. She always made us smile and her wonderful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Although I didn’t work with her directly, our paths crossed in both work and outside and she was always a lady. We had the same hairdresser for many years until they closed and many a conversation during a shampoo. A truly unique and considerate individual.
