I am so sorry to hear about Gillian’s passing. I went to school with Gillian both primary and secondary and she was a lovely and kind person. My condolences to both family’s for their loss.

I had the privilege and pleasure of knowing Gillian for quite a few years as the children passed through the school. She was the most kind, caring and friendly lady, always ready with a warm smile and a good laugh.

A scraped knee or a lonely tear, Gillian had welcoming arms to sooth & comfort all. A true professional who started out as a colleague but ultimately was a true friend.

Gavin, Owen, Jamie, Sam and Ruby..To say that we all feel a numbness in our family for your immence loss is an understatement. Gillian's role as a wife and mother came so naturally to her. When John would go back with Jamie to the house after training she would always sit and chat while the boys had a cup of tea with the famous chicken roll. That is how welcoming Gillian was. From the chats we had since the lads started secondary school together it was so obvious that Gavin and her children were her world. May you Rest in Peace Gillian.
