My recollections of Gillian....Lighthouse.
A return flight from County Cork to England across the St Georges Channel. At 6000ft the wings iced up and it was necessary to dive down to 1000ft to get rid of the ice. Gillian never once flinched or panicked. Instead she instilled a calmness.
She was the epitome of warmth and kindness to both friends and animals. Often nursing the latter back to health. Including my duck.
My condolences to you Geoff and all who knew her.
