Dear Ciara, Alan, Eoin & Cormac, my most sincere condolences to you all on the passing of your lovely Dad. It was a pleasure to know him all those years, growing up in Clonkeen. I met him very often with Mum on the daily trips to SuperValu pre Covid and he always stopped for the chats with her. May he rest in peace with your beloved mum Cora. Sending love to you all. R x

I am so very saddened to hear of the passing of your wonderful Dad, Guiseppe. He was such a kind and lovely man. I have so many fond memories of your Mum and Dad and of growing up in Clonkeen.

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our lovely Uncle Gosser - it was my great privilege to see him a few days before he died on my trip home from Australia and I will cherish that memory in particular to see how well he was cared for and loved by you Ciara. I would also never forget the endless days he spends silently in support of our family in the family room at Beaumont Hospital’s ICU when his little sister Lora was so unwell. His quiet unrelenting support more powerful than any words. Our thoughts are with you all. Sorry we cannot be there with you to say goodbye. It is reassuring to know Cora will have him back to his usual self already! Ar deis de, go raibh a ainm usual

Gallo so sorry to hear about your lovely Dad passing away. Seppe was always such a character and had that Italian twinkle in his eye and smile that was always so endearing. Loved spending time in your house when we were growing up and Cora and Seppe would have a massive feed for us…Still buying thousand island dressing in their honour from back in those days!! Your Dad was one of the good guys and he will be sadly missed. Thinking of you and the Galvin crew at this tough time. RIP Giuseppe. X
