Dear Rob & Family,
Your Mum’s passing is the end of an era. I remember fondly a recent afternoon, only last Autumn, when my Mum and I met you as you emerged from the water onto the slipway at Aylevarroo, while your proud Mum had been watching you swimming from the comfort of the car. It’s only marvellous that the two of you could enjoy such experiences and that your Mum avoided the need for long hospital admissions and care homes. You will miss her, terribly, of course, and I offer you my sincere sympathy at this sad time.

So glad to be able to share in saying 'goodbye' to our Aunty Glad from the south of England! Thanks for the opportunity and facility to do so. A lady of great faith and example who has 'run the race and completed the course'. We hold many precious memories of her life and influence over our own life's experiences and thank God for her.

It was great to be able to visit her when she was coming up to her 100th Birthday.
She was much loved and cared for wonderfully by Rob & Jacinta in her last years.. They certainly “ added a full life to her closing years” :Well done. RIP.

Hi Rob Jacinta such a shame but boy what a wonderful life mum lived from the first time I visited with my dad back in the 60s at the lovely house overlooking the cricket field such memorable visits,such fun and warmth visits I will treasure for ever.I will remember her with such affection and am so glad (no pun intended) that I came over to see her on her 100th birthday something I will never forget,thinking of you all and looking forward to seeing you in June.I am sure mum would not want us to be sad but to toast her wonderful life god bless you both.Yours for ever and always John.

Aunt Gladys was an exceptional woman; attractive, fun-loving and with an indomitable spirit. Saw little of her for many years as age has caught up with us all but have many happy memories of seeing her as her young nephew. My Mum Elsie Hopkins always spoke very warmly of her. So sad she has passed on but what an innings and what a legacy she has left.
Elspeth joins me in sending our love and best wishes to you, Rob & Jacintha and your families and to you too Steve and not forgetting you Susie and your family, along with all those who will miss her. She is at rest. God bless her.
