We were very saddened to hear of Glynis' passing. Sincere sympathy to her relatives and many friends. Glynis was a close friend of my sister Anna O'Mahony (Anno) RIP, from their years in Aer Lingus, trips abroad and especially in the Arts. May Glynis rest in everlasting peace.
So saddened to hear of Glynis’ passing.
A very special person and wonderful colleague in Aer Lingus.
Fun times in Melbourne, Singapore, Rome. She lived her life to the full.
Dear Glynis brought fun & laughter into every place she visited. Her warm sensitivity lives on in our memory. R.I.P. Sincere Sympathy to Nora, Tim, Eileen, Jim, Randal, Dirk & the extended O'Connell & Casson families.
Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Glynis. I went on a work related trip to the UK with Glynis and to say she was the epitome of entertainment, fun and wit is an understatement. She was so kind and generous and will be remembered for all the right reasons. Rest in Peace Glynis.
Always remembered for so very many magical moments on and off the Stage, thank you dear Glynis, rest in peace 🙏
Sad to hear of Glynis' passing. I worked with Glynis in the PBO's for many years. Always enjoyed her recitals to which we were so generously invited.

Glynis was a truly Lovely and Delightful Person in every way, especially as a Performing Artiste with an amazing range of talents. In addition to her varying ranges of voice projection,Glynis had many different facial expressions to go with same, which were inter alia very comical. She entertained us so royally. It was a great pleasure to be in her audience.
May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peave.
We will miss you Dear Glynis, your wit, sense of fun, talent and stories. RIP.
Our dear 'Auntie' Glynis will be very missed by our family but most especially by our mother Anne Doring. I have such fond memories of her visits to our house for dinner and hearing her booming laughter all throughout the house. She brought graciousness, generosity and laughter with her wherever she went. If the purpose of life is to leave the world a little better, she did that in spades with her friendships and her many contributions to the arts. May she rest in peace.
Deepest condolences to the Casson & O'Connell families on the sad passing of Glynis, may her gentle soul rest in peace

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Glynis. She was such a wonderful person. So kind and generous. She had super stories, I could listen to for hours. And I loved chatting to her about Musicals. She had the best tips for comedic songs.

My sincere condolences on Glynis's passing. Glynis created the revue "Ladies Who Lunch" and performed it with my late wife Irene Gaffney and pianist, the late Maeve McSweeney. It brought to the fore Glynis's many talents - her natural warmth, her wit, stylishness and her wonderful sense of mischief and fun. She was a great friend to us over the years, the best of company, always kind and generous and she will be greatly missed by many. "Here's to the Ladies Who Lunch..."

Wonderful memories of a wonderful human being. Dear Glynis thank you for all your inspiration. Your Mother Kay and Father Christopher and dear sister Womby featured hugely in my life. I will always keep all of you in my heart. May you be welcomed into your paradise. Mariana
Glynis was a formidable woman and talent, a force of nature, and Fairy-Godmother to me and, later, Great-Fairy-Godmother to my three children. I had the incredible good fortune to count Glynis as a godmother, friend, and - ever since we launched our careers the very same year - colleague and peer. I will miss you Glynis, our chats and your beautiful loud laugh. I hope to laugh loudly in your honour, just as often as I can.
My sincere condolences to the O'Connell and Casson families on the sad passing of Glynis.
Coming from a great theatrical family Glynis livened up many theatrical and social occasions.

So saddened to hear of Glynis's passing. My sincere condolences to Glynis's family and friends.
I worked with Glynis from 1980 until her retirement and her influence in the Dublin travel shops was immense.
Her professionalism in every aspect of her work, the love of people , the staff and the passengers was evident.
Her organisational skills arranging Aer Lingus destination promotions in the Travel Shops are legend. The fun we had , for example in the ITALIAN version she organised a delivery of cornetto ice-creams and sang "Just one cornetto" .... classic Glynis.
On a personal level, I had the utmost respect and admiration for a woman who made my career in the Travel Shops so memorable.
Gone but not forgotten. ☘️
A Lady of eminence talent and natural charm. Sadly missed

Aw, Glynis! You were the best of us: exceptionally kind, loyal, hilarious, erudite, talented and full of integrity; a veritable tour-de-force. You were like a sister to mam and an aunt to me and my siblings when we were young, and a pal in later years. Ní bheidh do lèithéid arís ann. Rest in peace and power! Xx

Im so sorry to hear of Glynis's passing.I worked with her in the booking offices in O'Connel St and Grafton St in the seventies where she was the most wonderful colleague and supervisor, with a wicked sense of humour.Glynis was a blue blooded Aer Lingus person and an example to us all.
She is fondly remembered by me-I'll miss her
Glynis was an exceptional singer and performer, she also dabbled in direction. She was a stalwart member of the Aer Lingus Tops of the Town group where she appeared, sang and directed. She was elegant, witty and great company. I first met Glynis in the 1970's in the O'Connell St booking office and her intimate knowledge of Aer Lingus Operations and history was exceptional. She had a friend or contact for every department of the company. The world is poorer for her loss.
So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Glynis what a wonderful talented person and always good company. May she rest in peace. Maurice Whelan past chairman ALMS.
