Gordon always was a pleasant person to be around with. I liked his very calm, relaxed and balanced manner and would have liked to spend more time with him.

I learned with sadness about the untimely death of Gordon. We met in 2021 while working together. I always enjoyed our chats and we stayed in contact. The last time I met him he came to stay with me in Dublin and we philosophised in the home bar. He was a great guy, kind and smart, but also complex. I never had a chance to meet Hanna, and my thoughts go out to her and their entire family and in particular the children who have lost their dad. RIP Gordon

I went to school with Gordon back in Germany, we were in touch on and off over the years. I am absolutely shocked and my heart goes out to his wife and children. Rest in peace
