So, so sad at the passing of Aunt Grace. The last few days, I have been thinking of all our holidays in Ireland as children, and her warmth and welcome. I still treasure the cross she gave me, as my Godmother, for my Holy Communion. I know Mum (Annie) had a special place in her heart for Grace. I think she thought of her more as a daughter than a sister. She very often called me ‘Grace’! It was an honour to be mistaken for such a lovely lady, so aptly named. Now the whole clan is re-united, and Grace is with Uncle John. There’ll be quite a hooley in heaven! I was so glad to be able to join the service via the Webcam. It was a beautiful service and truly honoured her. My love and prayers are with you all. From the book of Wisdom chapter 3 – read at my Mum’s funeral - “The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment can overtake them. They are at peace.” My she rest in peace, and rise in glory. Amen.

Thoughts with you all on this sad day. Grace touched our lives so much, So many happy memories of our holidays in Ireland and staying at Home Villas and of Grace and John's visits to London. She will be missed but left us so much to be thankful for.
