So very sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Grainne ( R.I.P ). We were in the same Class in Greenhills and she was always so full of life and a bundle of fun. She made every day brighter. My deepest Sympathy to all her family and many friends. You will be so missed by all who loved you! x

I had the wonderful pleasure of working along side Grainne in the credit union. She was always so joyful and happy. Nothing was ever a problem even when the books didn’t balance. She had a great way of making you feel at ease and very welcomed.
Then my lovely children had the pleasure of having her as their school secretary. There she also made them feel very welcomed and cared for. She has a great way of making them all think they were her favourite.
She will be sadly missed around the school and the village.

Grainne was a wonderful lady and a role model to us all about community spirit in the school and the village. Where there was a will, there was a way! And Grainne would know the way or know someone. She showed a keen interest in all the children and their families, they loved her for that. Her smile was infectious and always ready to help or have a chat. We will miss her dearly.
